Buying My First Love Seat Chair
Like so many new college graduates, I finally landed my first job and had a steady income coming in. Of course one of the first things I did was to get an apartment. And then, of course, I needed furniture to furnish it. How could I do that cheaply?
On my limited income, this apartment was not very big but it was perfect for me. Now came the task of furnishing my apartment in an appropriate home decor that showed my rising status in the business world!Unlike a traditional home that has a formal living room, dining room and den, my humble pad consisted of a small bedroom, a tiny bathroom, and a combined kitchen and living area. Simply put, big pieces of furniture were not going to fit in a small space.
And as I began to shop for furniture there were so many options that were available to me that was to be honest I was a little overwhelmed. A friend of mine recommended getting a love seat chair as opposed to the traditional sofa. It made a lot of sense because you rarely have three people sitting on a sofa for any given time.
My boyfriend and I began shopping the various home furnishings stores to see if we could find a love seat chair. There were so many options available to us. This is going to be the major piece of furniture in the living area so I wanted it to be nice.
One style that I was attracted to immediately was the lusty chair that had a built-in single bed. This way if we have folks over to spend the night they would not have to sleep on the floor but pull out a single bed and use it instead. This used the space much better than having a big sofa that took up a lot of room, and it looked much more professional.
Another great benefit that we found was that the loveseat sofa typically cost twice as much as a love seat chair. As I mentioned I’m on a limited budget and saving money is always important.
Of course you could customize the piece with custom feet, various wood finishes, inexpensive or very expensive fabrics, and different arrangements of patterns or event pillow types.
These custom additions also added to the price, but it made me feel like I was picking a piece that was uniquely me as well as a piece that would last for years to come.

The sales associates at a furniture store were not only very well-informed on the love seat chairs they had in stock, but what was available in the industry. It was a great shopping experience.
